Persephone

This picture was fun because I experimented with a new medium: tea! I used Oolong and Chai because that's what I had sitting around haha. I wish some of the shadows had come out a little darker, but I guess I'm really not all that surprised that it came out light (it is tea after all). Maybe if I used a black tea I would get a darker color? (I just don't like black teas very much so I didn't have any on hand ) I used watercolor for the flowers. 

This was kind of a quickie, but overall I'm mostly pleased with the result. I submitted it to a local gallery offering a mixed media exhibit, offer me luck on getting in!!! >_<'''
